Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kesehatan reproduksi dan pemahaman mengenai alat kontrasepsi, khususnya pil KB, merupakan aspek penting yang perlu diketahui oleh remaja, termasuk mahasiswa farmasi sebagai calon tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi dan kontrasepsi pil KB pada mahasiswa farmasi Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sebanyak 148 responden dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner online. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan usia, program studi, semester, dan latar belakang orang tua. Namun, tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan dengan jenis kelamin dan asal sekolah. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa Farmasi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang mengenai kesehatan reproduksi dan kontrasepsi pil KB termasuk dalam kategori baik. Ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan faktor usia, program studi, tingkat semester, dan latar belakang orang tua, sedangkan jenis kelamin dan asal sekolah tidak menunjukkan pengaruh.
Background: Reproductive health and understanding of contraceptives, particularly birth control pills, are important aspects that adolescents, including pharmacy students as future health workers, need to know. Objective: This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of reproductive health and birth control pills among pharmacy students at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Magelang. Method: A quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach was used. A total of 148 respondents were selected using simple random sampling, and data were collected via an online questionnaire. Results: The study results indicate that the majority of students have a good level of knowledge. There is a significant association between knowledge levels and age, program of study, semester, and parental background. However, no significant relationship was found with gender and school of origin. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study indicates that the level of knowledge of pharmacy students at Muhammadiyah University Magelang regarding reproductive health and oral contraceptive pills is categorized as good. A significant relationship was found between knowledge and factors such as age, program of study, semester level, and parental background, while gender and school of origin did not show any influence.
