Abstract

The consumptive lifestyle in Indonesia continues to increase, including in terms of the use of electronic cigarettes or vapes which are now increasingly popular, especially among young people. The high use of electronic cigarettes (vapes) in Indonesia, which is now a modern lifestyle. Vape users often face difficulties in choosing a liquid that suits their preferences, both in terms of taste and nicotine strength. This problem is exacerbated by the relatively expensive price of liquids, so that inappropriate choices can cause dissatisfaction. To overcome this, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to help vape users choose liquids at 88Vapehouse. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), which allows the selection of the best alternative based on several criteria, such as availability, price, and PG/VG composition. This system is designed to make it easier for users to determine preferences and provide product recommendations that suit their needs. Testing was carried out using the blackbox method and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The test results showed that all system features ran as expected, with a user satisfaction level reaching 88.8%. Thus, this system is considered effective in helping users make more informed decisions in choosing vape liquids.
