Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know health efforts management in primary school Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan and primary school Muhammadiyah Tamanagung, and compare the management of health efforts in primary school Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan and primary school Muhammadiyah Tamanagung. The research design used a qualitative descriptive comparative approach. The subjects are primary school Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan and primary school Muhammadiyah Tamanagung. Objects are health education, health services, and fostering a healthy school environment. Data collection with observation, interviews and document scrutiny. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that School Health Effort Management in primary school Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan and primary school Muhammadiyah Tamanagung have implemented TRIAS UKS covering: health education, health service, and healthy environment development. There is a difference in the implementation of management of School Health Enterprises of primary school Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan and primary school Muhammadiyah Tamanagung. Excellence in primary school Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan: 1) completeness of health facilities and infrastructure, 2) service professionalism by UKS officers, disadvantages: the administration of UKS activities is less orderly. The advantages in primary school Muhammadiyah Tamanagung: 1) the administration of the complete activities, 2) the appreciation of the better document, the deficiency in Muhammadiyah Tamanagung elementary school is inadequate, and the work division of the UKS officers has not been orderly. The research findings are 1) principals play a dominant role in the management of UKS in primary school seen from the decision of purchasing facilities and infrastructure, determination of responsible person or officer of UKS, and attention of school supervision to monitoring activity of UKS. 2) monitoring and supervision of UKS activities is not optimal, and suddenly the UKS will be optimized when there is a race or accreditation activities.
